I voted for the very first time today! Since it was a special occasion I decided I needed a patriotic outfit so I put together a voting outfit and I talked Guano into wearing one too. It was very exciting for us so on the way to our polling place we sang a few patriotic tunes  🙂 I was a little disappointed that I only had to fill in bubbles and was not able to use the punchy thing, but I guess that takes away the problem of hanging chads.

This weekend T ran in state in Jeff city and I got to go watch him run which was pretty cool! My mom and Gentry stayed the rest of the weekend and we went to this place called Shelter Gardens to take pictures for Gentry’s photography project. I kept trying to photobomb her pictures, but she said she could only take pictures of nature… likely story. We also went to Stephen’s Lake Park and walked around campus. It was really nice to spend time with them again even though I was just home 🙂

Today I spent 2 1/2 hours working with my group on our motivational interviewing role play (if you were wondering, it is as dumb as it sounds). We had the option of either acting it out in front of class or video taping it before hand so of course we video taped it. I played the part of Nurse 2-Jennifer and I plan on winning an Academy Award for my part. I would post it, but I am going to spare you all 10 minutes of awkwardness lolol.

Thats all for now. Less than 2 weeks until Thanksgiving break and I have sooo much to get done.

Keep it Classy.

the end

10 May

Hello all!

I write this from the comfort of my own couch while watching House Hunters International on TV. I woke up at 11:30 and it’s a great feeling indeed.

My last week was pretty good, I’d say. I don’t remember much about the weekend. Monday I picked up my final photo assignment and I found out I got a 91% in the class… WTF! I was pissed because I got an A on every assignment and didn’t understand how that equated to me getting an A- in the class… That was until I re-read the syllabus and apparently you lose 15 points every time you don’t come to class (Stupid, I always got my assignments done early, so why would I come to class another 3 times for 3 hours each when I had nothing to work on?!) but anyway after I realized that I had in fact “earned it”, I wasn’t mad anymore.

I got a 97% in Multimedia (video) class. I had a final paper due for Alpha Seminar about my first year of college. We turned it in on Tuesday and our final consisted of eating pizza and having to dance out the door when we left. I’ll paste the last paragraph of my paper here because I believe it’s relevant to my “first year of college is over” post.
“With that, I am feeling a lot more confident about my next year, assuming it really does arrive in mid-August as I finally suspect that it will. I’ve learned a lot this year – a moderate amount of academic skills, and an extreme amount of oh-shit-I’m-almost-an-adult skills. All in all, I have immensely enjoyed my first year of college and it was less agonizing than expected.”

Monday I didn’t have any finals so Caitlin and I went to this cute little crepe restaurant downtown for breakfast. I had a strawberry, banana, and Nutella crepe. Yum. I began packing, but I took pictures of my room first so I would always be able to remember how it was my freshman year. I’ll post them because I know Morgan is the only one who really saw it!

Tuesday I had my Spanish final which I didn’t study much for because I had an “I don’t care” attitude. YAY!

Wednesday, after 5 hours in the library on Tuesday night (which I mostly didn’t study but instead read “Full House Reviewed,”
(which I highly recommend if you are at all familiar with the show and want to laugh)) I had my computer science final. I think I did decently.

My mom came yesterday at 2:15 and I had to check out at 4:30. We took things to the car, and then walked over to a friend’s Summit apartment so I could show my mom the set up of where I’ll be living next year. Then we went to the on campus fast food place, and we got something to eat. Too bad I still had $115 Panther Bucks left… oops!

In all, I was feeling pretty sad to leave and it was such a weird feeling! I’ll miss living in Wallace Hall… at least until I think about the boys on the floor above me who apparently decided it was time to drag their furniture around the room every night at 2:00am…

My first and last days in Wallace Hall

Today I looked online and saw that I earned a B+ in Spanish but my teacher bumped my grade to an A-! I posted a twitter status about it saying “A- in Spanish, heck yeah!” until I saw that another girl in my Spanish class had posted “B in Spanish, so happy!” 27 minutes before me, so I thought that was in bad taste and deleted mine. At 3 today I went to UpDog and filled out my tax forms… I start Monday! Can’t wait 🙂

I hope to see you guys soon!

not caring about school anymore because there is only 1 month left

11 Apr

Today is the first day in a while where I don’t know what to write about, but I will try to think of something.

I always do. Thursday at 3 I left to go home for Easter, which was cool. Friday morning I had an interview for a summer job at UpDog; it was super chill and the guy who interviewed me didn’t write my answers down or anything, we just had a conversation. I think I’ll get the job.

Friday I also found out I did get selected out of like 60 people to be an ambassador, I think I wrote about that in my last post but I pretty much knew I’d get it. Friday I went to church at 3 and we dyed Easter eggs that night. I had a video assignment due Tuesday, which I had not started on, hence I had to film at home. I used my dad’s video camera, but alas, I FORGOT MY FREAKING TRIPOD HEFOWAFNMKS;NVSDZK;NVD. What a pain in the ass. I had to conduct interviews by sitting my family down at the kitchen table and putting the camera on a peanut butter jar in order to achieve proper framing.

Saturday I did my photography assignment at Carrie’s soccer game, and that was fun because I hadn’t been to one of her games since last season (fall). Moritz told her to score a goal for him before the game (she never scores goals) and lo and behold… she did! I also made mini Easter cheesecakes that I found on pinterest, and they had devil coconut on it. But I don’t mind coconut. Then we went from church from 8-10pm, and I’m almost 100% sure that I was the last one to blow out my candle when they told us to. (I kept letting mine stay lit for like 5 extra minutes.)

Sunday was Easter, Carrie woke me up too early at 8:00 am, and I went downstairs to my awesome Easter basket, including about 30,000 calories worth of chocolate. I still have this weird thing going on where I never have much of an appetite, so I didn’t eat a lot of it yet, and I left it at home when I came back to school. Who IS this person that I’m turning into?! My dad had been saying that there would be no “Amazing Race/Easter Egg Hunt” this year (Morgan, you can understand what I’m talking about) but we ended up having one anyway, he tricked us 🙂 It was a little shorter though, but it was still a lot of fun, and included but was not limited to: filling a sock up with lima beans in a relay race, sitting on a bench in a small cemetery, going to an arcade, giving cookies to firemen, and “destroying the Horcruxes” by using a slingshot to shoot marbles at 6 plates with pictures of Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, Professor Umbridge, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Dementors taped to them. I broke Voldemort.

Sunday night I decided I didn’t feel like driving back to school, so I played hooky on Monday! (My first time for these classes, but they are MWF at 9, 10, and 11 so I couldn’t really get back in time in the morning.) I did my Spanish homework that was due and emailed it to him. I woke up around 8:30 and left at 10:30. Got back at 1:30, skyped briefly (because Moritz is in Spain Tuesday-Thursday), and then proceeded to the Mac Lab to work on my video project.

What I was not anticipating was the fact that I had to transfer 20+ video clips to the Mac computer via MY 8GIG MEMORY CARD. That was annoying. I had to do it because a portable hard drive can’t be compatible with a mac and pc simultaneously. THEN I had to convert all the files to be able to be seen on Final Cut Pro, THEN they didn’t have sound so I had to convert them again. This took about 2 hours. By the time the video was done, I had spent a total of SEVEN CONSECUTIVE HOURS on this dang assignment. However, time went fast due to the high level of fun I was having.
Here’s the final product:

(hope you guys can see it)

Tonight we’re having an event called Sex on Campus, where the human sexuality teacher answers people’s anonymous questions. I signed up to “chalk” for the event, meaning write information on the ground outside around campus. I incidentally made a trail of sperm that lead to the building in which the event is held. Clever, I know.

I’m tired of typing, you’re probably tired of reading, see you on the flip side.

There’s something on the floor…

4 Apr

I feel like not much has happened, yet I don’t know where the whole week went since last Wednesday.

Thursday I had to do a “funny” project for video class with a partner… first, I don’t know anyone in my class of 10 people. Second, this project is not for a grade so why would I want to do it?
Anyway, a girl named Lindsey who is on the soccer team, and in the sorority with a certain reputation, asked me if I wanted to be her partner so I was. She is really nice. We went to her apartment and pretended we had a club where we obsessively painted our nails and it turned out better than we were expecting.

Usually on the weekends I hang out with Caitlin, but this weekend she went to Truman State to visit her two best friends, so I was like well now what? Anyway, I ended up laying outside on a blanket in the sun with Kayla for 2 hours (after properly applying sunscreen, of course). Then we hung out in her room for a while, played tennis outside, and then decided to WALK to downtown Springfield around 9:00pm. The walk seems much longer than the drive, but we always have lots to talk about so it was fun. We went to Starbucks in the Bistro Market, and then proceeded to the newly renovated Park Central Square where we witnessed some 15 year olds smoking cigarettes and acting like, well, 15 year olds. I was grateful to be wearing a sweatshirt that proclaimed DRURY across the front, so everyone would know we were at LEAST college age, in case there was any doubt.

Also, there was a fight somewhere I think and so then the whole slew of police cars, a firetruck, and a ambulance came blaring by. Then we saw a guy running around on the roofs of buildings. And some people who were in a sword-fighting club just doing their thing at the square. We went to Jordan Valley Park, and eventually returned back to school around midnight.

Saturday I just acted like a bum and finished my research paper that was due Monday. Sunday I didn’t do much either. I laid out with Kayla again, and skyped, so that was important!

Monday was not noteworthy, other than getting froyo at a place downtown that is not very good… it’s not a franchise, maybe that’s why, but their cheesecake bites taste more like cornbread…

Yesterday sucked big big balls. I wanted to skip photography because I’ve finished the next project, but noooo then he sent an email and was like “yo guyz I need u to B here Tuesday bcuz im liek gonna go over the final assignment.” Well DAMN. I got my butt out of bed at 7:30, went to class at 8, stayed for 15 min as he explained the assignment, and went back to bed at 8:30. POINTLESS. Got up at 10:30, cause we had a meeting about picking our apartment for next year at 11. We were 3rd to choose and got the 2nd floor, YES! That lasted until 11:30, and then I had class starting at 11:30 until 1:30. Then class from 1:30 to 3. Then an interview for Drury Ambassadors at 3:30, and then a meeting for this honor society at 4:15. Yes, yesterday really sucked big balls. It’s like everyone was just like “oh hay how can we make Cathy have the most busiest day everrrrr” and then they planned accordingly. Aaand that’s my soapbox.

In other news, my parents have officially told me Moritz can come on vacation with our family this year 🙂

In other other news, I was woken up at 1:00 am by some girls in my hallway being very loud and exclaiming. I went to the door, opened it to ask them to be quiet and they said “Someone shit on the floor!” But they were quiet after that.

Let’s Mate, lawl

28 Mar

The last half of my spring break was a lot like the first: uneventful. But I loved every minute of it.
I got to hang out with Nick on the plaza on Saturday! Yay!

Sunday I left home at 4, and when I got back to school at 7 the sun was still out! Yay again! I was pretty happy to be back, not happy about the classes that would inevitably follow, but it is what it is.

Monday I found out that I got a 93% on my Spanish oral presentation – I’m very happy because that guy never gives A’s. If he does, it’s usually a 90. So 93 was quite welcome to my eyes. It was a pretty easy day in that class; since he’s from Argentina he made this big presentation about it and we got to hold a 1,000,000 (peso?) bill because he said inflation was so bad that he was a multimillionaire. Then he got out this suspicious little silver cup with a thick metal straw and told us about this drink called “mate” (no, not MATE like “the animals MATEd”, but mate pronounced like “mott-ay”). It looked like drugs. But anyway he said he drinks it every day and he said we could try it too. So he gave it to one girl and she was about to wipe off the straw and he said NONONO that’s a symbol of friendship when people all share the same straw. Anyway, whatever I drink wine after people at church so I decided to try it. It tasted NASTY. Well I don’t like tea so that probably didn’t help my perception of it. But I would not recommend it.

Monday night, some friends were having a surprise party for my ex-suitemate Alexis. It was at Springfield Incredible Pizza Company, and the price was incredible…Y HIGH!! But it was good, and we played some laser tag.

Yesterday was really fun, not really. It wasn’t too bad though. My photography teacher was surprisingly agreeable and OK’d all my prints on the second copy (after making some changes)… usually it takes 3 or 4 tries. But maybe he just knows we’re all starting to run out of paper. I had class until 3, and then Moritz and I finally skyped! That was so nice. The good news: His tests are finally over!!!!!! The bad news: that means like a week of solid partying (I won’t comment on that). The other bad news: his schools he applied to STILL haven’t received anything from him. Hmmm. But anyway, we got to talk a lot and it was super awesome.

Last night I went to an informational “mixer” about becoming a Drury Ambassador, AKA working with alumni when they come to visit. I didn’t really want to go but I decided to. You had to get invited and about 60 people showed up. They said they only wanted to get like 15-20 new people but you have to interview for it. So now after going I think it would be cool to get, but if not oh well I don’t really care.

Today I had advising with my alpha professor to pick my classes for next semester… FFFFFFFFFFFF. (Hint: I’m having a hard time choosing classes that don’t all meet at the same time. My professor suggested a class which would meet a requirement, which is from 3-4:30pm T/H, entitled, “The Bible, Sex, and Sexuality.” The class is taught by an openly gay woman professor who is also a devout Christian. Sounds interesting, but I don’t wanna be in class until 4:30! Hence, my pickyness regarding class times is causing my problems.)

Keep it real

Cathy

No loyalty

21 Mar

Hey everybody, guess what? Spring break. That’s what I have right now.

It was much needed.

I made it through Thursday and Friday last week, and headed home around 11:15 am on Friday, getting home at about 2:15. On Friday night we went to a fish fry at St. Ann’s because we hadn’t gone to one in about 4 years so we went.

Saturday I slept until 11:30 which was glorious and then had St. Patrick’s Day lunch of corned beef and cabbage. Then my family went to the parade on the square which wasn’t really worth it because it only lasted 15 minutes but it was too nice outside to not go. We went to church at 5 on Saturday and then had dinner, and watched Super 8 on demand.

Sunday I slept some more. My dad had to go to work all day so my mom asked us if we wanted to go to the zoo. The last time we went to the zoo was during the summer of 2010 with Moritz and it cost the 5 of us like $75, but this time they had some thing where if you live in Jackson county it’s only like $5 each so it was only $20. We saw the polar bear, he was so cool. I have a photography assignment over landscapes to shoot over break but mostly I just took pictures of animals, sue me.

You can probably guess this but I slept until 10:45 on Monday. I apologize for highlighting what time I woke up every day but it’s just such an important thing that I can’t leave it out. I went to Hy-Vee and…. asked if I can have my job back for the summer. They said of course. I don’t really want to be a cashier again but I can do it for 2 months and I need the money, especially if I ever plan to pay my parents back for a certain $800 plane ticket… Then I went to the square and applied at Clinton’s and UpDog because if I could get another job that would be flipping sweet. I figured those might be places that would possibly be hiring for the summer since it gets kind of touristy over here. I wanted to apply at Yogurtini too but they said it was online. Moritz is coming on July 6 and I’m gonna need something to pass the time from May 9 when I get out of school until then.

Yesterday I seriously didn’t do anything. I woke up during the hour of 9:00 (wtf) and I watched tv shows on demand. Mostly it was Dance Moms. I have a strange addiction to that show, which is weird because I’ve never danced a day in my life. But that dance teacher is so dramatic. She kind of reminds me of Ms. Thompson but Ms. Thompson is much nicer. Also I watched Four Weddings. But the weather is so crappy that there’s nothing else to do. Kelvin asked if he could come get his movie while I’m home (he left a movie called Fantastic Mr. Fox in Springfield when he came to visit Graham. I never want to watch that movie, it looks effing creepy. But I brought it home with me during October in case he needed to get it from my family anytime. Well now I don’t know where it is and he wants it back so I kept telling him “come tomorrow” every day and “tomorrow” suddenly turned into yesterday.)

Today I went to Kohl’s and Marshall’s with my mom to buy some sandals. Then we went to Cherry Berry because it’s right there on 39th St. Cherry Berry is just like Yogurtini, Yogurtopia, Peach Wave, Orange Leaf, etc… only with a different color scheme (red and green). So apparently I have no loyalty to these places because I just get yogurt wherever it’s convenient. One thing I will say about Cherry Berry is that their yogurt did not melt one single bit during the time I was eating it.

Guess which one's mine?

Moritz had 3 of his 4 big tests this week, and his last one is on Monday! YAY!!!!

In other news, my mom told me she had a message on the answering machine that there were shots fired in Chrisman’s parking lot last night. Classy Chrisman. Why are you so classy?

I forgot about my idol : bad decision

14 Mar

Hey guys, I’m alive but just barely. With a last-minute photography assignment, an edited video, a rough draft of an 8-page paper, a test, an oral presentation in Spanish, and computer science program all due at various points during the week, I’m sure you can understand why this is suprising.

The issue is, that I forgot until yesterday about the honey badger. That was a terrible decision. Yesterday I was in the computer lab working on the computer science program in the company of Rosalia (of course), a senior Indian boy, and a math grad student, and we were all talking about how crappy the week was. Then I suddenly remembered, “Honey badger don’t give a shit!” and I exclaimed it aloud, causing the grad student to laugh quite hysterically, and me to be happy because I remembered that guess what, I don’t need these grades to get into college because I’m already here. So I should quit being so uptight and be more like the honey badger.

Last week I cleaned my room a lot, knowing that Kelsey and Morgan would be here. Rachel cleaned too. I really like how the room was looking, and we maintained that cleanliness for about four days. But considering how hellish the week has been, dirty dishes are once again sitting on the sink begging to be washed out and empty boxes of food are sitting on my desk, aka the way things should be.

In case any of you have been closely following my complaints regarding Moritz’s current college situation, I have news for the latest installment. In early February, he sent all of his required documents, and a package to me, from a post office in his village. This post office just opened during January. Last week he went to ask why none of these items had arrived. The post office told him that all their international mail from the first two months had accidentally been sent to Northern Germany, where the people there didn’t know what to do with it, and did not feel responsible for sending it. Last week they realized their error, and it was all sent back on Monday so Moritz had to go in and claim everything, and resend it again. What a pain in the ass. Thankfully, they let him express-mail everything for free. Well I think those idiots owed it to him.

In less than two weeks, all of his tests will be over and I will have my boyfriend back! (Well as much as I can have him back while he’s 5,000 miles away.)

The light in our bathroom (automatic) is broken, and apparently it’s not the lightbulb but the sensor that causes it to go on. I’ve been showering in the dark and incidentally cutting my legs when I shave them. Yesterday I actually showered with the bathroom door wide open and hoped Rachel wasn’t going to come in anytime soon.

Also, today in alpha we had this freaking dumb presentation about racism. All of us were being as non-cooperative as possible so that was quite pleasing. I like to cause clash. I’m a free spirit. I do what I want.

I only have to make it two more days, and I will be home free! And I better be free because I’ve been working my ass off to get all this crap done so my professors don’t have anything to hold over me while I am in glorious bliss sleeping in my bed errday until 11:00.

I apologize if the overall tone of this post was bitter, but that’s how I am right now and I’m a very expressive person so that is probably why it came through in my writing.

Cathy

the honey badger is my idol this week

7 Mar

Hello all. This week has been most uneventful. But you know me, usually I can come up with some random shit to talk about.

I skipped my photography class on Thursday morning and ohh it was glorious. I spent the evening studying for a computer science test that I would allegedly have on Friday, however this event never occurred.

Friday morning I woke up around 6am feeling like my head was going to split open. I was also sweating to death and felt extremely like I was going to throw up, but I didn’t. It was a migraine, which I’ve never really had before. I stumbled out of bed and sat down at my computer, covering my face with my hands because it hurt my head to look at the bright screen. I kind of typed some words to my professors which I read later and were not so legible. Anyway, I went back to bed until around 11 and felt better and went up to Caitlin’s room to hang out. But around 3 I started having some trouble seeing, like when I would look at a word I could only see one letter. When I looked at Caitlin and Alexis, I could only see one part of them that I was focusing on, like one eye. It was frightening. Then I kind of lost my peripheral vision and saw a lot of zigzags on the stuff that I was looking at. My mom wanted me to go to the ER but I said nahhh bro honey badger don’t care.

Saturday I slept late and was feeling better, and in the evening I went to this dance party at someone’s church where we needed costumes. With only about an hour’s notice, I dressed up as a hipster and I think I made a pretty good one. My hair was already dirty so that helped.

Sunday I once again didn’t do anything really. I folded laundry and skyped and that was it.

Monday I woke up and was feeling pretty good, and my computer science teacher sympathized with me because he said he’s had a migraine before and that I could just take the test Wednesday (today). But during my last class of the day at 11 I started having problems seeing again. It was a little different though – you know when you look at the sun and it kind of burns a big spot into your eye for a while? It was like that when I looked at my professor, only I hadn’t been recently looking at the sun. It didn’t last as long as Friday, but then my headache came back and it was angry. I was supposed to go get help with a computer science project that was due today but instead I went to sleep for about 3 hours. I felt better when I got up though.

Yesterday I had photography at 8, which all we did was a critique and I don’t know how this teacher managed to drag out a critique of 10 people’s photos for an hour and a half. At 9:30 I went back to bed until 11 when I met Caitlin for lunch. Then at 11:30 I went to computer science lab, and my teacher kept asking me how I was feeling and stuff like that, he’s really nice. I’m sad I won’t be taking computer science any more after this year because he is a great person and I like him a lot. I’m just not sure how much long I can stand dismally failing.

Then I had my video class, where I swear it was 80 degrees in there and it was like 70 outside. Not cool. (Literally.) We watched each other’s videos from the last project and we were all comatose to say the least. But mine actually made people laugh, it was another HIPSTER vid so I’ll post that on FB when I can figure out how to get my hard drive to work. My teacher enjoyed it too I think.

Moritz and I have been making webcam videos for each other since we still haven’t been able to talk quite as much, so it’s really cute and I like that a lot! Less than 3 weeks until he’s done, so that’s great, but unfortunately the colleges he’s applying to STILL haven’t received his paperwork 😦 I’m kind of getting into apathetic mode to be quite honest, which I know is bad but I can’t help it. Honey badger don’t care. Sorry I’m overusing that phrase today guys, but I just remembered him and I really like it so I just need to use it as much as possible.

Morgan and Kelsey are coming to visit me Saturday, YAY! I’m ready to eat until our sides split. WOOO HOO!

Next week is going to be hell with an 8 page paper due, a Spanish test, a Spanish oral presentation, a photography assignment, and a video all due. FML. I hope I’m still alive at this point next week, guess we’ll find out.

Cathy

Highly Suspicious Activity

18 Jan

Hey guys. Happy Hump Day. I always hated when other people say it but I find it acceptable when I say it but only because my sole purpose is to annoy other people who hate it.

Christmas break was nice, the first week at home lasted 1000000 years but it was okay, the 10 days in Germany lasted about 5 seconds, and the last week at home lasted about one week so it was nice to see time making sense for once.

I got back on Monday around 6:00 pm. I brought in all my stuff and noticed that we have a new suitemate. First, I was expecting two; second, I was expecting them to be international students; and third, I was expecting them to be new students at Drury. According to the door, the girl (in the singular form)’s name was Hannah, which seems to be a pretty American name. She held the door open for me, which I would expect that any decent human being would do. My roommate (Rachel) and I were surprised to hear a male’s voice in the room later that evening, and Rachel came in from the bathroom to announce that the toilet seat was up. So it’s looking likely that the girl isn’t new, and possibly just got kicked out of her old room by her old roommate. I hope she won’t use the empty room to her advantage and just have sex all the time.

Yesterday I had class at 8am. WTF.

It’s at the farthest building on campus. WTF.

It was 70 degrees Monday and 30 yesterday. WTF.

Anyway, I made it there. The class was photography by the way. It sucked getting ready in the dark and everything because Rachel doesn’t have class until 9:30. When I got to class, there was one girl I kind of knew because she’s friends with Alexis. I’m the only person who has any experience. The class is supposed to be 3 hours on Tuesday and Thursday but today it only lasted 30 minutes. The cool thing is that in the future we are able to get into the building and the photo lab at any time, 24/7 as long as we have an electronic pass.

After that I had computer science lab which wasn’t that fun but at least it was the same class as last semester so it was okay and my old math teacher brought us little delicious apple tarts randomly.

Then I had Multimedia Production. The teacher is a large black man. I also knew one person in there, not counting the President’s daughter who lives across the hall and has wild parties on school nights. I guess that class will be like broadcasting which will be fun.

Decided to leave the Christmas lights up. Rachel bought some too.

I have done some online job applications: Marshall’s, Panera, Francesca’s Closet, Krispy Kreme, Peach Wave, Perkins, Applebee’s, TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, and the Springfield Library. The Library is the only one that got back to me and said they got my application. I think some of the other places weren’t actually hiring though. I really want the library job though, seems like it would be pretty low stress. Any job that I can have that doesn’t depend on me ringing up peoples’ Christmas turkeys and cat food, would be an upgrade in my opinion.

Also, today I had 3 classes but they’re ones I already had last semester so NBD. My biggest class has about 18 people (that’s my freshman advisement class), Photography has 12, Multimedia has 12, Computer Science has 10 and Spanish has 8. Me gusta that.

Today my advisement teacher informed me and Caitlin that our professor from last semester got placed on medical leave for this semester. I feel a little guilty but she told us not to and that he really needed to get some mental help, fast.

When I came back after my last class, just a while ago, I realized that my bed has been moved. I don’t know why. I texted Rachel and she hasn’t replied. I still don’t know why my bed was moved. There’s nothing over here. I immediately suspected the new suitemate. I went to the bathroom door to see if the handle was locked to keep her out but then I realized that Rachel and I have been locked out of the bathroom from the inside. So I had to go use the public toilet. Also, I looked under my bed because I was afraid for some reason that someone would be hiding under it.

I’ll keep you updated on this thrilling development.

Cathy

Update 1:54pm

Rachel says she came back to the room before me and my bed was like that. Needless to say now I am really freaked the effff out.

Update 8:56pm
