Arizona has been pretty great so far. We’ve done a lot of the touristy things, like take millions of pictures of the cacti that are everywhere. We also went to this cave place, the zoo (which doesn’t have pandas), a museum of miniature figurines and doll houses, the desert museum, and today we went to the air and space museum which included a bus tour of the nearby Air Force base. That was pretty cool. I’ll post pictures when I get home. There’s actually been a lot more to see here than I had been expecting.
Surprisingly the weather has been pretty chilly… Like 50s-60s. For a few days, the mountain tops were all snow covered. It was pretty. My parents kept complaining that they were expecting 70 degree weather. I was like whateves, it’s warmer than MO. But now that it’s snowy/icy back there, all I want to do is be trapped inside my house watching Christmas specials and drinking hot chocolate in my puff-puff blanket.
We leave saturday afternoon and won’t be back in town until 7:30. So I have 1 1/2 more days here in the desert! Baaaah I’m actually kind of missing pimpdence and my mom. Also I haven’t done ANY Christmas shopping at all. So I need to get on that once I get back. This week has been really enjoyable but I honestly can’t wait to be back home.
Hope you guys got my postcards that I sent if you posted your address to our chat. (That means everyone except for…. Nick. You’re surprised, I know.) Miss you guys! 🙂

Glad you’re enjoying Arizona. We do have winter days in the 70s but can be cold too. Sounds like you’re in the southern area, north we have pine forest and lots of snow. Have fun. 🙂
Overall it was warmer and much more comfortable weather than what I’m normally used to! I was in the south! The Tucson area to be exact. I enjoyed AZ very much! Thanks for your comment!
Those days are always funny. You think you’re not even going to make your minimum goal and then you manage to reach your maximum!
